The Marrs-Bar™ is a specialty training Olympic safety squat barbell outfitted with a built-in padded harness to reduce unnecessary strain on your upper body, shoulders, and joints. By distributing weight like a backpack, you will activate your glutes and hamstrings and increase your strength and power. With an ultra-comfortable polyurethane foam harness, you can squat more weight without discomfort in the neck and shoulders, common with traditional squat and power bars. The extended, wrapped handles and low bar, cambered design, along with the front handles, are positioned to reduce even more stress on your joints and increases the effectiveness of your barbell squats. The Marrs-Bar teaches various exercises, is an excellent rehab accessory, promotes proper form, and reduces the risk of injury.
The Marrs-Bar is the original, patented, top-of-the-line Safety Squat Olympic Bar with a thicker harness that will reduce the risk of wrist, elbow, shoulder, and neck injuries.

I love using the bar. It's very comfortable to use. The padding on the bar is nice and doesn't put too much pressure on my shoulders or back. The only negative I have is that the quality of the bar is not the best. It seems like they used some cheap black paint on the bar. I've only owned the bar for a couple of weeks, but the paint is already peeling. I'm hoping that it doesn't continue to peel. I don't know if I received a used bar that was just cosmetically refurbished, or if the company just uses cheap paint. But it keeps me from giving the bar the highest rating.

I already use the Titan cambered squat bar and the Titan SSB V2 and they are great. This Marrs-Bar is simply fantastic. Hatfield squats are my finisher and this bar clings to your shoulders with zero worry. It's just perfect. My only complaint is that after 4 sessions of squats the right horn on the polyurethane harness split right where the harness rests on the top of the traps and shoulder. I repaired it using GOOP contact adhesive. Now a couple weeks later the left horn on the polyurethane harness split. I'll have to repair that tear. Regardless of this inconvenience the Marrs-Bar is still my favorite bar for squatting. I have always low bar squatted using a power bar but am now hooked on this Marrs-Bar. The price may scare you some but considering what it can do it's more than worth it. My only regret is that I didn't get one earlier.

I've owned the SSBv2 and yukon and a conventional straight bar. I have congenital elbow deformities I can't put weight on them. I bought the Marrs bar when it was on sale, hard to pull the trigger on such an expensive thing. I am so happy I bought this. It is the most comfortable/safest bar for me to put real working set weights on it and be able to lift without physical limitations. I could not recommend this bar enough.

So here’s my honest review, and owning a gym where we carry almost every specialty bar out there, I feel I have some experience with bars. My issue isn’t with build quality. More so the other details. For one, It’s a tough bar- but it’s not coated like the coveted SAFETY SQUAT BAR from Elite FTS. I’m interested In seeing how this bar hold up long term. The padding in my opinion is off putting. Fees cheap and for some reason I feel it’s gonna chip all apart after constant use. But again! Let’s see. It’s not covered by a lining or anything. Just a soft/dense foam material. And my BIGGEST PEEVE! the collars! They aren’t affixed ( safety squat, camber bar, etc) they slide on, and are held on with an Allen head screw. I can already see stripped bolt issues long term. For the price of this bar I would expect at least bearing collars! But no.. you just slide them on, and good luck. Overall I feel this is a solid $500 bar and that’s it. The price and quality isn’t all up to where it should be. I say sell the patent to Rogue or someone else so they can do it up right. I’m sorry but I just was not impressed with what we got in. Our guys use it, and it’s an amazing bar, but it falls sort on all the hype.
