“They run smaller than the normal briefs and unfortunately aren’t made as well. I bought three pair and 2/3 have ripped up the side after 2 uses. I really wanted to like these...”
“First, I love Tomboyx underwear. I have several styles and I own Tomboyx swimwear and jackets too. I've always been impressed with the quality of their products, which is why I ordered six pairs of this type of underwear without worrying about being disappointed. But not only is the underwear fraying at the edges after the first wash (and yes, I did follow all of the washing instructions religiously), it absorbs almost nothing and it's not as comfortable as the other underwear I've bought from this brand. I deeply wish I would have tried just one before investing in six. So that's my main advice if you want to give these a try. Buy one to start out with.”
“Comfortable and great for spotting. Easy to wash. I felt they run slightly small (I'm a 2x in everything else I've bought from you). I would like more coverage, especially over the butt. If these were available in the iconic brief style, I would buy a dozen more pairs.”
“I was surprised at how easy it was to not worry about leaking. This was my first period since giving birth and it was awful. I’ve never felt so secure and confident that I wasn’t going to leak. Thank you.”
“Like others, I found these to run a little small, specifically in the waistband. It's unflattering and uncomfortable to have a too-tight waistband, especially when accompanied by period bloating and cramps. I'd like to see a high rise version of these undies, which I believe would be more comfortable and flattering.
That said, the rest of the garment fits great and doesn't produce pantylines, which is usually a problem for me with bikini styles. The size of the absorbent area is great and I can use these as a comfy, unobtrusive, low-maintenance substitute for other period products all week long. (My flow is typically light to medium.) If I hand wash each night and hang to dry, I can make do with 3 pairs.”
