I ended up going back for more pairs! Yes, they do feel like you're wearing a panty liner, but the great part is that it stays in place all day. My workplace gets incredibly hot in the summer and due to sweat, panty liners tend to lift up and bunch instead of staying in place and doing their job. With this underwear, I have excellent protection all day. So far, they've done well too at odor control. After repeated wearings and going through the washing machine, they still work just as well as the first time using them. I'm impressed!

The material and fit are both much nicer than my Knix leakproof, but the front of the absorbent pad is far too short. If it can come an inch or two higher I will be a lifetime customer, for now it is too short to be useful as a stand-alone. The absorbent pad is also a little stiff, but will likely break in with more wear.

TL;DR: Love these, fit great and work great, will buy again. When I first saw that TomboyX had a line of period underwear I was so happy. I truly love their Classic Brief fit so I went with the bikini since (as of writing this) the classic brief cut isn’t offered yet in the First Line leakproof. (I am 5’5” 125# with a smaller waist and fuller butt so I wear a medium and really appreciate the fit of the classic brief for fuller coverage and just comfort.) I was hopeful but slightly skeptical when I ordered my first pair, but when they arrived I tried them same-day and have been both relieved that the cut fits well AND of course they work well. Really good “protection” for a medium day. I got the Plum color which looked just as advertised. Yes, when they arrive the absorbent area in the gusset is a little stiff, but I did not mind that at all and they are very thin and comfortable. So glad to have these, and such a better price point than other comparable products.

These are really comfortable underwear but I'm underwhelmed with how small the absorbent portion is. They are good to use with a tampon, but they leak in the front and back if worn alone.

When I first put them on I was worried with how low the waist band was. I should not have worried. The waist band stayed put and never once rolled down. They were fit well and felt great.

I have tried 3 other period underwear and these are hands down the best! Very absorbent and comfortable. Last all day!

I'm not sure what I was expecting. Nice material, feels well-made, I haven't worn them on my period yet so take this for what it is. It feels like you are wearing a pad, anyway.. I thought that was kind of the opposite of the point? It kinda feels like really thick bathing suit material in the crotch. Will update when I'm on my period, but I wear tampons and dailies (very thin pads with no wings) for leakage, but I'm not sure that this will be better? I guess I'm saying, it feels a bit bulky for being something you wear to feel a little more free from your period.
