“The company were brillInt but the truffle was so subtle in flavour it was difficult to taste. After commenting I was told that it improves a lot if cooked in butter but I wanted the rich deep flavour I had from having truffles in the past whengrated on top of food . I understand it was early in the season and they are milder so maybe I will try again later in the season”
“The truffles were tasteless and devoid of any smell. I understand that black summer truffles are less pungent and flavourful than the winter type, but the price difference does not fully reflect this, so I feel they were somewhat overpriced.”
