“I can totally recommend this product. my only problem with it is that the windows and doors need to be a tighter fit. I've had to fit with draft excluder. I cant remember if I had booked the Georgian windows. but I got plain”
“Delivered on time ,after a phone call from driver, and driver put it on drive without any problems. We put it up in two days and it went up really easily. Finished roof the following day. We painted it and have received numerous compliments on how great it looks.”
“In the main, this was a totally positive experience. The delivery was super-slick, with the driver parking around the corner and bringing the cabin to our house on his magic forklift thing. Building the cabin was really simple too - everything just slotted together perfectly. There were a couple of issues though: the instructions were not at all clear on how to finish the roof edge and it seemed to me that it was very poorly supported. I ended up adding my own support brackets, using and extra wall log that was included in the package. The other problem was that the roof side boards were missing. I dismantled the pallet on which it arrived and used a couple of lengths from that, but they don't look as good.”
“The cabin was easy to order. I spent ages looking online but found these to be the best. They are untreated so you will need to buy some good treatment but this is why they are cheaper than most of the other sites I found. Delivery was excellent and the driver rang me. I live in a rural location but he still did the drop. The walls were easy to put up I did that section on my own. Just needed a mate to help lift the heavy roof beams in. The floor and roof took a day each. The only negative was that I did have enough roof shingles. The blogs were excellent and made the project much easier. I would use Tuin again.”

“We purchased the log cabin to place on an existing garage base with the intention of using it as a workshop - shed. After the first delivery date had to be changed due to being out of stock the cabin was delivered two weeks later with the driver calling me around 3/4 hour before to give me time to get home to meet him and watch him unload. Two weeks later we started assembling the cabin, the instructions were good and information on the web site is well worth reading before hand. First we sorted the different pieces into piles and checked them off the parts list to make sure everything was there, as I recall the only discrepancy with the parts list was a missing roof board, we had a couple left over after the build so this was not a problem. We squared the foundation boards up and started building regularly checking the diagonals to be sure the angles are correct. My first error came to light when the walls where about 1m tall, we are using an existing base and had assumed it was fairly level, it wasnt. The logs at one end were starting to stick a bit as we were fitting them and knocking them down with the mallet. After checking the base with the spirit level we found it was not flat and went off at all sorts of angles. We then spent some time packing up the foundation boards to get them level, starting at the highest point an working round. After this things went together smoothly again. After the first day we had the walls up with the ridge beam and perlins on. The second day we started putting the roof boards on, if I were to do it again I think I would use a length of wood with some blocks fixed to it to keep the distance between the ridge, purlins and wall the same as I was fixing the boards on. The boards went up quite well in the end though. We followed the advice on the website for fixing the shingles and after we got in the swing of it they went up quite well and we got even quicker once we noticed the lining up marks on the shingles :) Finishing off I filled the gap, made by packing the foundation boards, with some mortar, after this was dry we painted some damp proof sealant around the foundation boards and base to stop water seeping in. We have treated the outside of the cabin with a preserver and will be putting the finish coats on as soon as we have decided what to use. We are very pleased with the cabin and are looking forward to using it in the future.”
