I’ll give it a 5 although I’ve no idea if it actually improves sound. What it does do is reduce my anxiety about missing out on something great. Unobtrusive, built like a tank and weighs twice as much. I view it about the same way that I view my upgraded cables - it can’t hurt!

My old power regenerator blew up and it would cost a small fortune to have it repaired. It is so heavy, the shipping cost alone would be huge. I bought the Niagara 1200 instead. I have my Primaluna amps, AR preamp, Oppo player, Sota turntable, Scott LK110 fm tuner which I built from a kit in 1964 (Upscale tubes) used 3 hours a week and still sounds great(no it's not for sale) and my Sony AVR all plugged into it. I also have several AudioQuest cables.

First, I was skeptical about this adding anything noticable to my system. I was wrong. This is not a subtle change in sound. I really understand what "black backgrounds" are now. I was amazed from the moment I plugged it in and am really enjoying listening to all my favorite music to see what's there now. Highly recommended.

Nice unit with great build quality. Provides quiet power to my fairly expensive audio equipment that meets my expectations. Also gives me the peace of mind knowing that the equipment is protected from evil power demons from a top rated appliance.

I can't recommend this product enough. Of all the things I've done to upgrade my system this may have been one of the best. I was mainly concerned with protecting my components from power surges that could damage them, but the overall sound from my system significantly improved. Less noise from the turntable, but the sound is just better...more spatial. I don't geek on all the details of HiFi audio but I know enough to tell a difference in sound quality. Plus it can be discreetly tucked behind a console on its side since it isn't something I want to display out on a surface.

Perfect sized for my second system. I have a 3000 on the big system, both made a huge difference, does everything they claim!
