“I rolled these into my Rogue Audio Pharaoh integrated hybrid amplifier. The soundstage was immediately different. A bit more detailed, and wider. I suspect they will continue to change as I get more hours on them, but I’m happy with the improvement. The crew at Upscale Audio was great to work with and were a big help to me during my purchase. “Good preamp tube- a little bit (slightly) more detailed than my Gold Lions. They'll smooth out a bit over time, as all tubes do but must say they're pretty good right out of the box.”

“Very quiet and extra detail. Enjoying the sound and new life it's given to my pre-amp. Needs break-in as described. Right out of the box, it was bright, but smoothed out over time. I found it a little challenging getting it into the socket (Rogue RP-1 pre-amp) and I had to use quite a bit of force.”

“Great tube , quiet as all get out. In my preamp position I'm hearing a very nicely detailed top end and no slouch in other areas Replaced a Radiotechnique 12au7 Kevins Stash also . Upscale is the place for the best tubes”

“I picked up a pair of GE Military Stock 12AU7/6189Ws for the second position of my PrimaLuna EVO 300 integrated amplifier. I paired them with Brimar CV4003/12AU7s in the first position. The stock PrimaLuna 12AU7s sound great. However, if you want something "extra," I highly recommend the Brimar CV4003/12AU7s in the first and the GE Military Stock 12AU7/6189Ws in the second position.
