“Nothing outrageous to report, I liked the tube history and uniqueness which is not the best way to drill down on a desired sound. Installed when part of my system was down and now after a week or so the system (pair of PrimaLuna Evo 400) sounds incredible again. I have some GL and stock PrimaLuna 12AU7's which I will play with over the holidays... to see which is the best fit for my system and room. If you're new to tubes, invest if you can once your system is mature, then you can start splitting hairs - remember this is fun and just tell my wife "these old tubes"”
