“Immediate, noticeable difference from the stock Primaluna 12au7’s. I replaced the front 2 gain tubes on my PL EVO 300 integrated. More clarity, and it is quiet - less hiss. I feel my Evo 300 is miles better now! I used the platinum grade version. Thank you Josh for the recommendation. And thank you Kat for introducing me to Josh. You guys add value.”

“Very nice tubes (in my Primaluna Prologue Integrated amp). I have quite a few pairs of NOS 12AU7s that I've picked up over the past several years from Upscale. All great. Kevin's descriptions are accurate, and I'm glad I have some inventory. These GE tubes, to me, are just clear and balanced from bottom to top. They kinda remind me of the Brimars or Seimans. BTW - I notice a bigger difference when rolling tubes than when swapping wires, but maybe that's just me (and my wires).”

“These are excellent 12AU7 tubes. I originally used 4 of these to replace the stock gain tubes in my PrimaLuna EVO 300 preamp. My rig consists of a VPI Classic, Sky 10 SUT, an Manley Chinook feeding the EVO 300 which connects to a pair of PrimaLuna Prologue Seven mono blocks. The results were spectacular, absolutely dead quiet, with subsequent improvement in all dimensions: bass, midrange, top end, etc. The black background really helped flesh out vocals and mid bass, sound staging and imaging presented more holographically with improved air and space around instruments, and depth in the recording. Ultimately, I also replaced the 2 cathode follower tubes with these GE 12AU7s, resulting in more subtle improvements, but which helped with the overall presentation.”
