“These are nice sounding power tubes for a Primaluna EVO 300 amp. Still breaking in but after 10 2-hour listening sessions I can hear them improving a little each time (bass definition and reduced treble glare). Patience is a virtue with these tubes best I can tell!”

“I love the build quality of the gold Lion kt66's and they have it all from great bass, to beautiful midrange and super sweet highs as for the cryo version I have found them to be worth the extra cost as they break in quicker and so the extra hours of quality listening time makes the price close to even and in my experience they also last a little longer than the non cryo version and they out last any of the el34' s I have used through the years”

“My favorite tube, compared to Sophia electric el34, EH el34, TS el34, and GL kt88. Paired with the Brimar driver tube it does everything well: - extended and textured bass - full, intimate, and lifelike midd - smooth and sweet treble - deep and immersive soundstage - creates an uncanny sense of an event (with certain recordings) I’m using the cayin HA-6A with Empyrean headphones. I did try it with the LRT and it was less good, but with the Brimar 12au7 it’s magic.”

“I bought an oct of these tubes for rolling in my Primaluna Evo 400. Have not tried them out yet but my rating is for the service I receive from Upscale. Great staff , very knowledgeable and fast shipping on products. I have ordered multiple sets of tubes and all have been fantastic. Thanks to Kevin and everyone at Upscale”
