“RECIEVED 8 GOLD LION TUBES TODAY AND PUT THEM TO USE AT ONCE VERY VERY LOVELY VASTLY SUPERIOR TO THE FACTORY PRIMA LUNA AND LEAPS AND BOUNDS OVER THE JJ TUBES THEY ARE NOT BROKEN IN YET ONLY A FEW HOURS ON THEM BUT EVEN NOW THEY SOUND LOVELY PLAYING A MERRILL HEIRLOOM KOETSU ONYX THRU A CAT PREAMP AND PRIMA LUNA AMP AND DUNTECH SPEAKERS THEY SOUND AMAZING I WENT TO FOR THE CRYO AND I DO BELIEVE IT WAS WORTH THE SMALL FEE UPSCALE IS ALWAYS GREAT FAST SHIPPIING AND VERY CAREFULLY PACKED SERVICE IS ALWAYS FANTASTIC I HIGHLY SUGGEST THESE TUBES AS SUPERIOR TO MANY OTHERS”

“These tubes make music listening fun! I used them in my Decware Torii MKV and am really enjoying what I hear. I previously used Tung Sol KT-66 tubes. In comparison the Gold Lion KT-77s are a lot more open, introduce a touch more distortion than the KT-66 tubes but also are generally more lively. Lows and mid’s are more forward, also the highs seem clearer. My tube equipment further upstream is definitely darker (think Mullard NOS small signal tubes in the pre and phono stage equipment). These tubes are a very good compliment as I think the highs are a little more pronounced as well as compared to the KT-66s that presented more muted highs. The sound stage is also bigger. I do think that my KT-66 tubes were more 3D, but I’m hoping for more of that from the KT-77 tubes after more break in. All in all great tube, excellent quick shipping from Kevin and gang! Feeling pretty confident in my choice of tube and dealer!”

“I bought this single Gold Lion KT77 to replace one from a recent purchase, not from Upscale Audio. The one tube was requiring constant rebiasing, I have individual bias per tube. It did indeed take care of the issue. I am aware there is a quality issue with these tubes and I'm willing to deal with that as I truly love the sound of them. Next time I will purchase them from Upscale Audio and have them cryo-treated as I understand this not only improves how long they last but also the sound quality.”

“Tubes were shipped and arrived quickly. They sound excellent. I also appreciate the follow-up that Upscale Audio does as well as the fact that their personnel does not work on a commission basis. I never have had the feeling of being "upsold by Upscale." :)”

“My favorite power tube by far. It has all the attributes of the EL34 plus wonderful soundstage, great bass, more space between instruments. Voices more upfront. More notes, more music! Super fast free shipping just can’t be beat.”
