“I'm a fellow who mostly enjoys music on CD. I've had a new Rega Saturn CD player for about a year and had been enjoying the music powered by EL34 tubes. The builder of my integrated amp, Lance Cochrane, recommended I switch to KT88 tubes and these Gold Lions are magnificent! The improvement is so very dramatic!”

“These are for my arc Ref 3 preamp. They replace tubes of the same brand, but these new ones are much quieter thus revealing more low level detail.”

“Replaced the stock PrimaLuna EL-34's with the Gold Lion KT-88's on my EVO 300. Changed the stock 12AU7's with Gold Lion 12AU7's at the same time. Gave them the 100 hours of recommended burn-in and added another 100 hours per Sean's recommendation. The results are amazing! Cleaner highs, lower and tighter lows, while maintaining a nice midrange. Also getting a wider and deeper soundstage. Totally worth it to me to make this change! Thank you Sean for your guidance!”
