“ordered these KT88 tubes, and while they were in transit, I called support to ask about returning them upon arrival. I spoke with Richard in support and let him know I wouldn't open the package and requested a return label. Richard never got back to me. I'm very disappointed with Upscale Audio. I've purchased PrimaLuna gear and many expensive tubes from you in the past, and I expected better customer service."”

“These were purchased as spares following a tube failure in my VAC Phi 300 amp. Given a tube failure after only 90 days I cannot say they are reliable, but the amp sounds great!”

“I'm a fellow who mostly enjoys music on CD. I've had a new Rega Saturn CD player for about a year and had been enjoying the music powered by EL34 tubes. The builder of my integrated amp, Lance Cochrane, recommended I switch to KT88 tubes and these Gold Lions are magnificent! The improvement is so very dramatic!”

“These are for my arc Ref 3 preamp. They replace tubes of the same brand, but these new ones are much quieter thus revealing more low level detail.”

“Your video led me to purchase this to exchange the EL 34 tubes in my Prima Luna HP Dialogue, for the Gold Lion KT 88s. All I can say is wow!! You were not wrong. I cannot wait for these to get 100 hours on them to really hear them when they bloom. Thank you so much for all you do for us in the listening world.”
