“Bought these 4x to roll into a Primaluna Prologue integrated amp. I noticed a substantial increase in the bass response and the soundstage also seems a little bigger. I am using two GL 12au47s in the pre section and plan to add the other two to round out the GL set. Highly recommend Upscale, they have become my go to for all things audio!!!”

“These were recommended during a conversation with Upscale. I had been using Wing "C" 6550 but wanted a bit more bass but I wanted to keep the lushness of the 6550's. Well, many years later I still using the GL-KT88's. Once in a moment of cheapness, I purchased a few replacements from a Amazon based tube vender, bad move. Of the four tubes, 3 failed within 4 month. I've never had a failure rate with Upscale product. I have been using these folks since 1999, great product and outstanding customer service.”

“I agree with everything Kevin said about these tubes in the video as well as many of the commenters. They are clear and detailed throughout all frequencies - strong bass, clear & liquid midrange, extended highs (which balance out the top-end softness in Tannoy Revolution XT-8F speakers)”
