“I can't really separate the Hana from my Concept/Carbon. The total package is awesome and worth every penny. I can only compare to my old set ups and the Hana blows that away. The bass is much better and details are coming out that have been hidden by lesser carts. I listen to jazz and classical mostly and I haven't heard anything close to the same money that does a better job than the Hana.”

“fabulous cartridge. as good a $1200 investment as I have found. I know you can spend more but why bother? I've got five figures in my system and would need to spend 2x on each of my current components before I would consider a more expensive cartridge. I love my analog setup so now I can spend my money on feeding my vinyl addiction”

“I replaced my Denon 103R with the Hana ML cartridge. It provided a significant improvement across the frequency range, especially in the mid-range. One thing I'd point out is that the Hana is a physically heavy cartridge. Before purchasing one, be sure that your tonearm counterweight can balance this cartridge. Mine could not. I had to tape 2 steel washers on the back of my counterweight to set the vertical tracking force. Pretty ugly look.”

“There was a significant improvement when I replaced my Denon 103R with the Hana ML cartridge. One point that should be made, the Hana is a very heavy cartridge. Be sure that the counterweight of your tonearm will balance a cartridge this heavy. I wasn't aware of this when I bought the Hana. I had to tape 2 steel washers on the back of my counterweight to balance the arm. It's ugly but it was the only way to install the cartridge on my JVC QL-5 turntable.”
