I have McIntosh C2200 preamp with MM phono stage that takes 4- 12AT7's and 4- 12AX7's. I had Gold Lions in there before there. I put just these AT7's in first and there was an immediate improvement in sound quality even before breaking in. Really rich midrange and upper midrange. There was an unexpected improvement in deep bass extension as well. Tubes are very quiet, even in the MM phono stage. I replaced the 12AX7's later with Mullard CV4004 and while there was an improvement here too, In my set-up, I noticed a bigger difference changing these tubes. Would definitely recommend. Sad when these old tubes are gone, I don't think any new ones can approach these.

I recently bought a Doge 8 pre-amp and it gets great reviews, but universally, people say the stock Chinese tubes need upgrading. I gave them a few weeks but found an edginess to the sound that I wasn't completely happy with. I chose these Millard cv4024 tubes based on the great reviews and boy, I wasn't disappointed! I couldn't believe a few tubes could make such a huge difference.... A complete transformation. Gone is the edgy high end and the bass, mid and overall sounstage is simply staggering. I have now turned my attention to my new doge 6 CD player and suspect similar improvements might be possible. Just an incredible tube. A real shame that these tubes will become rarer and rarer. I wish I could buy a truck load!

Bought a pair of these for my Craig Merz OTL mono amps. All I can say is that, those Mullards are wonderful. The mid range is what caught my attention at first, and the top end open and clear. No harshness here. Wonderful indeed.

Bought this to replace a new production EH12AT7 Goldpin tube. I am really pleased with the sound improvement. No harshness in the treble and better reproduction in the bass. This is a really good tube and worth the money.

I replaced the stock tubes in my ART PRO VLA II leveling amp and the sound is amazing. What a great buy - Thanks Upscale Audio for the great product at a low price!

I replaced one of the two 12AX7's in my Fosgate Signature phono preamp with this NOS Mullard (an option offered in the owner's manual), and the highs are now much improved. Furthermore, I paid much less for the replacement.

Bought 6 Mullard CV4024/12AT7 tubes from Kevin on the recommendation of Myles Astor. They're going in a custom Doshi Audio Tape pre-amp. The tubes that came in it weren't bad. They were quite good and quiet as well. I put the Mullards in and let them settle in for a day or so before I did any critical listening. To say they took the Studer/Doshi to another level is an understatement! The Ella Fitzgerald tapes clearly had body now. The stock tubes made her voice sound a little thin. The Who and Bad Company tapes took on a low end that I have never heard from 60's and 70's rock. The tapes had plenty of top end which the tubes brought out without sacrificing any of the kick and bass. I'm a convert on now and will be replacing the tubes in my other equipment! Thanks Kevin!!

I'm using these now in the front sockets of the Prima Luna Prologue Premium Integrated; I find 12AT7 works far better there than 12AU7. These are noticeably better than the Amperex orange world globe 12AT7's in the low bass and upper highs and both seem to have a bit more mid range warmth than pure neutral. I give them 4 instead of 5 stars because they do get a bit heavy handed on massed orchestra
