I bought a pair of Prima Luna ProLogue six amps 9-10 years ago just staying with the stock tubes. Although I took Kevin's advice and replaced the Sovtek tubes for National 7DJ8's in my sonic frontiers line 1se with additional upgrades done at Parts Connexion. After a couple years I changed out the tubes with GL KT-77's and Mullard 12AU7's and 12AX7's all cryo treated. Earlier this year it seemed time for replacement so replaced all tubes as before save swapped the Tung-Sol in for the 12AX7 Mullards. I listened to them as long as my ears would allow and finally decided to go back to the Mullard 12AX7. Even after less than 10 hours they are a dramatic improvement. I know they will break in as did the previous pair to that wonderfully smooth mid and still sweet high. Very pleased with the sound. I had also read in Get Better Sound that keeping the cables off the floor was a good idea so just as a test cut up leftover redwood 2x4's about 4' long and cut 3 V notches in the top of each. I placed them about a foot apart and was amazed that the system was instantly quieter and all with scrap that I would have tossed out anyway. My ears salute you Kevin and team!

Replaced the stock tubes (with the EL34s) in an old Jolida JD302BRC integrated amp and the Mullards really gave the amp a new life - great bass and overall outstanding performance.

I've put about 65 hours on the Mullard 12ax7 reissue pair so far on my PL Evo 100. It's a great sounding tube, and has what sounds to me like a fat-round sound. It seems to be a tube that has what you would expect from a tube, softer sound. I've also got a set of Gold Lions reissue tubes for the front 4 slots, 2-12au7's, and 2-12ax7's, and the GL tubes are more lively and a bit brighter, but fun to listen too. My favorite setup so far is 2 Mullard 12au7's and 2 Gold Lion 12ax7's. I get a little more liveliness with the GL's in the 12ax7 slots.I'm getting a set of 4 Mullard EL34 power tubes, and looking forward to listening to those.
