Don't let the small size fool you. The EVO 100 is by every account a full-fledged high-end component. Pristine highs, liquid vocals, solid base and excellent build quality. After replacing a well-respected and similarly priced integrated (with class D output) I am back to listening full time. Tubes rule thanks Kevin!

Well-packaged, high quality product. Now I am in need of a suggestion for a way to integrate EQ settings to adjust treble and bass.

It sounds very good powering my Klipsch Heresy 4. But within a month of ownership I started having issues with a high pitched noise in one speaker. I am in the middle of trouble shooting and the noise may be coming from a bad tube. I wasn’t expecting any issues like this to happen this early.

I have my Prima Luna Evo 100 Integrated paired with Wharfedale Linton speakers. I bought this particular gear just on Kevin's recommendation via his videos plus I have no experience with tube amps and I'm a curious cat. Prima Luna seems to be the adult company in the field. They have really figured stuff out which is good because I don't want a project I want something finished. It is more expensive than some other brands but this amp is a luxury item in every way. The money spent is plainly evident in the build quality. For instance the sides of the cage are thick glass and the bottom edges of that glass are not only beveled, the bevels are actually polished. I didn't want a didactic sound system. When I go to the Met Museum to see my favorite paintings or objects I do read the info on the wall and it's informative and it adds to the experience but it's not why I'm there. I'm there to see and experience the art work. That sums up my relationship to the Evo 100 and the Lintons. I get all the information I need which is very important but I also get the experience of art. Almost all of what I listen to is acoustic instruments and singers and that covers classical, jazz and pop. Just drum hits alone have me mesmerized. I can hear the hammers hitting the strings in pianos even before the strings begin to vibrate. Acoustic instruments come to life in a fully three dimensional space, they breathe and they speak. Singers are alive in the air around me. I truly am amazed. Listening to music now has become a meditation for me. The Evo 100 Integrated along with the Wharfedale Linton speakers are a window into this other world that I thought I knew.
