The shipping was fast and packaging was very good, after turning it on my first thoughts were what the heck did I get, the highs were to high and mids and lows were very weak, after speaking with upscale and told to please give it time for tube break-in, I now have over 100 hours on it and and WOW they were right, highs have mellowed and crisp, mids and lows are nice, very detailed in sound and enjoyable to listen to for hours. This amp is like a bottle of good wine and gets more amazing with time. Thank You for your great help

It's a Caddilac when it comes to sound. It's for sure the nicest amplifier I've ever owned. I love looking at it too.

This is my first tube integrated amp. It was money well spent. Very easy to use love the look of the tubes glowing. I have the amp hooked up to my klipsch forte's. They have never sounded better. Thanks to all of the guys at upscale audio Randall was a big help for my purchase.

This is an update to my review on Aug 14, 2017. Nothing has changed in that I still absolutely love this amplifier. But I do have some additional input as far as tube rolling is concerned. After doing a lot of research i came across these tubes called PSVANE Mark II. They make a 6CA7 which is equivalent to EL34 and they make a 12AU7. I bought a quad of each (from alibaba and amazon, because Kevin doesn't carry them). While I do not profess to be an audiophile, I can tell you that in my opinion they are significantly better than the prima luna stock tubes, and don't cost near as much as NOS tubes. Are they as good as Mullard NOS? I can't answer that, but to me they do sound that good. Kevin, you really need to give these a try and add them to your store, to give your customers another option.

I mostly listen to classical / opera. For years I used high end solid state amps, but was never satisfied with the sound. Then I experimented with an inexpensive Chinese Tube Amp and it sounded better than any solid state amp that I had ever heard. Unfortunately the manufacturer used some inexpensive parts causing issues with the amp. I knew at that point that I loved tube amps, but needed a better quality one. Then I spoke with Kevin from Upscale Audio and he recommended this model for me. I couldn't be happier. The sound is absolutely fantastic. I integrated it with B&W CM9 speakers, and a Marantz 6005 CD player. Music has never sounded better to me. In fact, I can't imagine music sounding any better with a more expensive system. My days of upgrading are over, my days of enjoying music as I never have before have just begun My thanks to Kevin for his recommendation.

I am someone with an electronics back ground both in Radio, IT, and lots of test equipment in between. I like value for my money and don't have the budget to break the bank but know the sweet spot when I see (hear it). The Tube Dude has taken out time from his busy schedule on several times to talk to me on the phone and replied to my email for advice. I bought the PRIMALUNA PROLOGUE PREMIUM INTEGRATED AMPLIFIER from Kevin and he shipped it all the way to Korea to me. It arrived in perfect condition and I won't try to describe how it sounded other than the quality of reproduction is just frigging awesome. Very pure reproduction with the power to drive massive speakers. The SNR/THD/bandwidth combined with a point to point wiring and heavy as can be power supply. You can be the judge...its awesome. Kevin meticulously takes the time to bring you up to speed on what you should and should not do...He is a mentor and is all in on his craft. Kudo to the tube dude... Mahalo John

I never had a tube amplifier, but after speaking with Kevin,I decided to take a listen, well I was blown away. I have installed the unit, and I have put on my VPI a nice vinyl: The Earth Wind and Fire top hits. I've listened to that record many times and I remember how it sounds. So I turn on the turntable and a I turn my back to the system to walk toward my couch, and the sound hit me, I was completely surprised, where was all that sound before? I have always admired the command of the english language by the critics, but honestly could not figure out what "space" or "air between instrument" meant for music, until now. No matter how good you are with words you can't describe the Mona Lisa, you have to see her. In this case you have to listen to this amazing piece of engineering. I feel that I have a band new record collection to listen like never before.
