“These tubes were made in 1956. The fact that they work perfectly in 2025 is a thrill. To be sure they are expensive tubes to begin with, so what the heck, I bought the finest Kevin's stash, cryo treated. They made a significant improvement in the sound stage imaging, bringing vocals, strings, and other mids forward. I am using them in my PL Evo 300 integrated amp.”

“Literature accompaning tubes says protect boxes tubes are shipped i n , could be valuable . boxes covered in cheapass stickers " kevin's special stash " , etc, etc . .Another example of how you don't practice what you npreach .”

“These replaced a pair of almost new Mazda Cliftes (sp) and made a massive positive impact on my system. Specifically, the mids and highs were no longer distorting at higher volume with heavy electric guitar songs.”

“This is the absolute BEST 12AU7 that I've tried in my systems (EVO 300 & Dialogue Premium HP). Kevin's stash is the real DEAL! Compared to stock or Brimar, this elevates my system to a new level. Absolutely stunning! Thank you Kevin....”

“These tubes were purchased for use in the output section of a vintage Conrad-Johnson PV10b. It was a great match. The tubes were very quiet and not microphonic at all. The sound was neutral, if not a bit on the cool side. If neutral is your thing or what you’re trying to achieve with your system, I think these will work well. I personally prefer something a bit warmer and prefer the Brimar 12AU7s that Upscale Audio has in stock. But I’m glad I gave these a try and I had some truly wonderful hours listening to music with them in the system.”

“These are very nice tubes. I am using them (2) in my Vincent Pho-701 phono pre amps. Love the sound they produce.”
