“I purchased 10 Radiotechnique 12AU7s for my PL EVO 100 Tube DAC, PL EVO 300 Integrated Amplifier, and my beloved highly modified LAMM preamplifier. All my testing was done using different sets of cans ( DT 1990 Pro cans, HD 820 Closed-back cans ), and here are my results all in one sentence. There is an extreme level of clarity throughout the whole spectrum, the bass is well-defined, precise, and punchy, while the clarity of the mids is more refined, and still embraces the lush sounds of old-school tube amps, the highs are like a 24-bit on steroids, in essence, there is so much more detail and so profound. Note: All the 12AU7 tubes in each piece of audio gear have been replaced with Radiotechnique 12AU7 tubes and all three pieces of audio gear complement each other which creates a true balanced audio system. Good Day!”

“I replaced the stock JJ tube in the center preamp position with this tube. There was some static coming from the left channel. Despite the static, I could hear how good this model of tube is capable of sounding. Over the next few days, the static became worse until it was unlistenable. I put the stock tube back in and dead quiet.”
