I bought another REL S/812 for my system Origin Live Soveriegn table w/light speed control, Origin Live Enterprise mk3 arm, London Reference cartridge/MO FI 3.5 Carbon cartridge, Boulder 508 phono pre, Prima Luna Dialogue preamp, (with tubes upgrade) D-Sonic m3a 600m mono blocks, Tellurium Q Ultra Black II cables throughout connected to Revel Ultima Gems (aluminum model) and two REL S/812'S The sound is very effortless, deeper bass, larger/deeper soundstage, better seperation overall, very tactile and solid System Rocks ! Thanks to Sean for the suggestion I was going to buy more gear out of frustration and he said to walk away from my system for a bit or try a second REL, so I bought another and glad I did A comment on "gloss finish", my old REL S-5 and REL Storm have much better finishes, I used to build high end furniture and the S/812 has an odd finish, a bit like the swirls you would see on a worn car finish I Anyway, I bought it for the sound

Awesome subwoofers pairs seamlessly with Wilson Sabrina Xs compensates for the high vaulted angle ceiling.

The subs have been as advertised! They bring the best out of my ML Ethos speakers. The movie experience is outstanding but the musical experience is out of this world!

Downsized from an active crossover with a pair of 13" subs. Very pleased by the change to a simple sub-bass system.

I like this subwoofer even though I have to use the line out connection instead of the REL preferred speaker out connection. This is because I am running monoblock amplifiers and the speaker out connection requires two subwoofers for monoblocks - I only have the 1 subwoofer.

my speakers sound more relaxed and even. I really appreciate this sub bass. I have not tried to position my speaker and tweak my Rel yet.

Bought a pair of S812’s and had them for a week. The S812’s pair outstanding with my Tannoy Kensington GR speakers. So much more than just bass. The soundstage and mid range really open up. Thanks to Kat for the help, as always!
