“These tubes will take at least 50 hours to break-in—after that time, the sound is open and airy with a sweet mid-range that has enough detail without sacrificing musicality. These are the tubes that ARC uses, so I saw no reason to experiment with any other brand.”

“Believe the hype! Swapped these from the MKII PSVANE k88's which I thought sounded great. These 6550's blew them away by a wide margin! My Prima Luna integrated amp is singing a perfect tune! They deliver incredible midrange detail and tight, controlled mid-bass. The upper end has a sparkle and the extended low end will rattle your bones. A very musical tube for all types of genres. I just topped 100 hours and I know their performance like a fine wine, will get better with age. The shipping was very quick. I received my order of 4 tubes in just 3 days. Highly Recommended !!”
