“I am very pleased with the purchase of the Sutherland KC Vibe Phonostage preamp. The system I incorporated this phono-preamp into consists of a Rega P3 with an Ortofon 2M Black Cartridge, a Rogue Metis preamp into a pair of Welbourne Laurel IIX 300B monoblocks driving a pair of Klipsch LaScala speakers. Prior to my purchase of the KC Vibe, I had never experienced a good phono-preamp and I was very skeptical about spending $900 on one and was prepared to return it, if it didn't meet my expectations. Happily, I am pleased to report that the Sutherland KC Vibe not only met, but exceeded my expectations! The amount of detail, imaging, etc. etc., that I am now hearing is leaps and bounds over what I heard before. In addition, the wide range of gain settings available really allows one to tailor the sonics of their system to their taste. I would highly recommend purchasing the Sutherland KC Vibe phono-preamp if you are currently looking for a phono-preamp or wishing to upgrade the one you are currently using.”

“I wanted something that was a step up from my integrated amps phono stage without breaking the bank. The KC Vibe was everything I was looking for. It really brought life to my deck and new audible subtle details can shine through my Hana cartridge. It is a solid build and I would highly recommend it if you are looking for something sub 1K.”

“This has to be one of the best phonostages around $1000 , that I've heard . It's dead quite, throws a wide and deep soundstage. Very musical and detailed at both frequency extremes, not romantic or to analytical. Works great with my Soundsmith Carmen Mk2 and really let me appreciate the Hana SL compared to the Clearaudio Nano v2. Happy customer here or should I say Hear !”

“The Sutherland KC Vibe is a significant upgrade to my system, it replaced a Quicksilver Audio SUT that i overall was happy with but lacked load adjustment. The KC Vibe gave me that adjustability and it also improved clarity and a sharper attack on drums and cybals. Very happy with this phonostage and the advise i received from Ken at Upscale Audio.”
