“I have a different model than this and bought from a local dealer. However this is in my opinion only one of the most important thing you can buy for your TT. Does not matter if it is a 200 dollar TT or a 10000 dollar TT plus. This little jewel is worth it weight in gold. One puts on an album set down to listen then falls a sleep as I so do all the time. This saves your needle. Pops up the tone arm at the end of the songs. It is a needle saver. Who ever come up with this is a genius. Yes your TT keeps running but that is not going to hurt it but that needle scraping at the end as you are snoring is not a good thing. Mine is not of this quality but it works well. A small little add on that is big for what it does.”

“I just received the version for my Rega Planar 8 (#4 with 2 bases), and it was a breeze to setup after watching the instructional videos. The build quality of the base and hydraulic lift are top-notch, however the latch and overall aesthetics leave something to be desired. But regardless, the device is SO darn convenient, especially as it can be hard to find a lift unit for the P8 that can still accommodate the hard cover. This not only does exactly what it promises to, I not can’t believe it’s taken me long to get one! What a game-changer — I can now put on records without the nagging sense that I can’t leave the room for more than 10 minutes without worrying about my stylus or records. So happy with the purchase! It’s more expensive than it seems it should be give them simplicity of the design, but I realize this is a specialty item and only a fraction of the investment in the turntable and cartridge. Highly recommended!”

“Great product. I use it on my Rega P6. Works every time. The one issue to note is that I had to lower the anti-skate to prevent the tonearm from flying off, so be vigilant when you are setting this up.”
