“Bought the gloves assuming they would be good for cold weather wearing. Was out for a walk yesterday and it was -5c - hands were frozen. Never warmed up. It gets a lot colder than that here so somewhat useless for wearing in winter”
Hi Ian,
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us.
I'm sorry to hear that your gloves aren't as warm as expected. They do have a fleece inner lining to keep your hands warm and dry for daily commuting and light use, but weren't designed to be used in extremely cold temperatures. The main benefit of our Waterproof Gloves is to keep your hands dry during the cold and wet season.
That said, we will be sure to share your experience with our Product Team as we're always looking for ways to improve and if you have any other questions please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at support@vessi.com
Thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts on your waterproof gloves with us.
“This is the product I have been looking for my son , he helps us cleaning the snow in the driveway but does not like to wear the thick gloves he is a big Vessi fan since he started wearing vessi shoes he does not want to wear any other brand refuses to wear snow shoes ...if he had a choice he would even go to sleep wearing them ...lol”
“Relatively warm for being in a West-Coast city like Vancouver. I wouldn't take them skiing or wear them in -20C, but they're pretty nice for some chilly days, using them to drive and scrape the windshield.”
“Bought these for my husband because he keeps wearing my old fleece gloves. And they are waterproof!! For when it's wet snow, I sense it will be amazing. He has only worn them once because he got it for his birthday this year.”
“These gloves fit well and are reasonably warm down to freezing temperatures. I use them for walking the dog and they have enough flexibility so I can fasten the harness without taking off my gloves. I haven't enjoyed the waterproof part yet as the weather has been great (but cold). I'm looking forward to being able to stay dry in the snow”
