“Quality and presentation are great. Unfortunately they just didn't quite fit comfortably. Primarily around my arch and heel. Appreciate the tight fit to maintain the integrity of the waterproof fabric, but it takes away from comfort and deters me from wanting to run/jog in them. Potentially needed to go a size up from the recommended sizing chart.”

It’s normal for the ankle opening to be a little firm to start! Over the first few wears of your new shoes you’ll notice that the upper knit and ankle opening will stretch to accommodate and create the perfect shape around your feet. The reason you want this is to make sure no water comes in through the ankle. The only way to ensure this is if you allow the shoe to mold to your ankle shape. In order to do that, you do need them to be tight at first and then only stretch when they’ve learned your specific foot shape. This creates that snug, sock like fit that we are loved for!
“Love the look, love the fit, but after a day of walking around the city I found my feet very tired. The shoes seem to lack the cushioning and support that I'm used to. I spend most of my time between Adidas and hiking boots.
I find that the cuff at the top of the shoe is really, really snug, and actually getting the shoe on can be more work than seems necessary. It's fine once I'm into the shoe, but on occasion I've actually worried that I might damage the shoe trying to pull it on.
Otherwise I really do like the shoe, especially the look of it and the construction. It'll be reserved for more special occasions when I just want to look good.”
“Very comfortable! I have a wide foot and they are a little on the tight side but with shoe has enough stretch that it hasn't been a problem. Great on walks and look good too! I will definitely be adding more styles of Vessi's in the future.”

“I like the style, I like the functionality, but the fit just isn't quite right.
My feet are a little on the wider side, and so when walking on uneven surfaces or trying to move in a lateral step, I tend to step over the side of the sole of the shoe given the looseness of the mesh construction of the upper. This is uncomfortable for any longer duration walks so I've stopped wearing them for that purpose.
Instead, I use the shoes for the short trips; dropping the kids at school, going for groceries or letting the dog out to do their business. For these purposes, in the Vancouver weather, the shoes have been great. They're easy to slip on and keep my toes dry.”
