“Shoes look great, water proof as advertised, very comfortable as well, however, the fit seems to be a little strange around the heel of my left foot where it feels like my foot is siding out of the shoe as I walk.
Hoping this goes away as the shoe stretches and adapts to my foot profile.”

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us, Over the first few wears of your new shoes you’ll notice that the upper knit and ankle opening will stretch to accommodate and create the perfect shape around your feet. The reason you want this is to make sure no water comes in through the ankle. The only way to ensure this is if you allow the shoe to mold to your ankle shape. In order to do that, you do need them to be tight at first and then only stretch when they’ve learned your specific foot shape. This creates that snug, sock like fit that we are loved for! 😊
“I've been looking for reviews that mention how these shoes do in northern climates and have yet to find any, maybe I wasn't looking hard enough. I live in Alaska and haven't had the chance to test them out properly on the snow but I gave them to my wife to try, she has a similar foot size, don't tell I told you. She wore them to the store and said she had no problems with traction and her feet stayed dry and relatively warm, with a quick trip from the car to the store. She said her feet didn't get to cold but wouldn't suggest being outside all day in the snow with them as they don't have much insulation, really though I bought them because of the waterproofness, if that's a word. I'll try and update this review after I've had the chance to really put them through their paces.”

Thanks for the review! Vessis are made with our proprietary knit technology that keeps you warm in the winter, and cool in the summer. We weather tested it to withstand down to -20 degrees! That being said, for much colder weather up North, we do suggest a more heavy-duty shoe for being outside for long hours. We appreciate your kind words and do update us!

“I really like the shoes. I like the look, and the fact that they are water resistant which came in handy when I was unprepared when it rained here in NYC. However, I do have a wider foot and they are a little tight. It's nothing super uncomfortable, but its noticeable when I am walking around the city. I'm hoping that the material will loosen up as I wear them more.”

Thanks for the positive review! Over time, the material will mold better to the shape of your foot. We recommend using a shoehorn in the meantime! Hope this helps :)
