I was recently at a 4 Day long Rock Festival and i wore these shoes exclusively and it was a great decision. from mud to beer these shoes held up to my wild weekend. 5 starts vessi.”
“Alright, so it's been 11 months, and I am back here because I am gonna have to buy a new pair of shoes because of wear and tear damage. I have used these shoes as my daily sneakers and through all seasons. Needless to say, I have used them a lot (however, it was 2020-2021, the pandemic year, so there is only so much one could go out, but still). Overall, if you are tight on budget, I won't recommend these. I think the value for money is not that great. There are other more cost effective options out there that will last much longer. The trade off though, is the fashion statement aspect. Although, there are some really cool looking hiking shoes out there that work quite well as daily sneakers. They often go on sale during off seasons, look trendy enough and of course they are comfortable AF because they are designed for comfort and foot support on those long hikes!
However, if money is not a problem, YOU HAVE TO GET THESE!!
I have both good and bad things to say about these shoes. let's start with bad ones first -
Cons -
1. Poor life. I used these as daily sneakers and they lasted 10-11 months. The fabric on one of the shoe is now tearing apart at the back of my ankle. Now, this is where it gets a little subjective. Individuals may have different opinion on what's an acceptable life. Mind you, I used these during pandemic year, so there was not a lot to go out compared to regular years. If everything was normal, these shoes have probably lasted 6-7 months. I have always used only one pair of shoes as daily wear, and other brands typically last close to 2 years.
2. Expensive - The pricing is a little too steep for the kind of life you will get out of it. Again, this might be subjective. You might be baller and think it's perfectly fine. However, if I compare it with closest other option - Allbirds, then it's not competitive.
3. Insoles slip - This was quite annoying. The insoles slip about 1/5th of the length and pile towards the front of the shoe. You won't feel it while walking, but it will throw your posture off and if you are on a medium-long walk then it will cause muscular pains/joint pains later on.
4. Clean up is tedious. You can't simply throw them in washing machine, hand wash only.
Pros -
1. Definitely waterproof. Live in vancouver and had absolutely zero issues on that front.
2. Good grip for mild snow conditions. and again, it's waterproof so works fine throughout the winter
3. Warm, cozy, snug and comfy on your feet. These are all weather shoes in my experience. During last year, I wore these in -10C to 39C temperature range, and only started to feel uncomfortable when it went over 30C and I was out walking in heat for more than 20 min. Note that I wear socks, so that helps a lot. If you were to try these without socks, then the comfortable temperature range is quite small.
4. Service and support at the time of purchase was friendly and I didn't have any issues during it.
5. They are fashionable and works with wide range of clothing, and occasion.
6. I have even tried these on beach and because they are snug and waterproof, they are also sand proof for the most part. As in, I won't run or play volleyball with these on a beach, but if you have to walk a bit on sand to get to a spot on beach, or walk right next to wet sand and ocean waves, you will be able to manage that with sand getting into your shoes and socks!”

“I got this pair of grey Cityscapes to replace my pearl white Everydays. I was getting too tired of washing the white shoes which, although waterproof, was a magnet for dirt. Unfortunately, I soon realized that the fit of the two shoes are quite different. The Cityscapes are so narrow that it pinches the sides of my feet. I have already loosened the laces all the way. You’d think the soft uppers would be comfy but nope, the soles are just too narrow.
Overall, I still like them. I like the look and how I don’t need to wash them after every outing. The fact that I can slip on the shoes on and off without doing/undoing the laces is bonus.”

“I love the look and the feel of my new Vessis! They are super comfortable and fit really well (using the fit tool on the website worked well). I am going to be ordering another 1-2 pairs in different styles and colours. My only gripe and it is a small nitpick but they make my feet feel warm, not hot just strangely warm, it isn't a problem as they don't make my feet sweat (which is both a surprise and a blessing as my feet normally sweat like crazy). Anyway, get them they are great, you will like them they are super stylish and great for the Halifax weather. Who knows they might work in the snow also!”
