“I had buy a size slightly tight for me but after wearing a few times it feels more comfy. Have been wearing it for rainy days and didnt experience water seeping inside the shoes. The next time I buy would probably buy a bigger size.”
“The CityScape does an excellent job keeping my feet dry, fits well & is flexible. The only major gripe I have is the grip can be stronger, as that would be especially helpful on the icy floors we sometimes see in Vancouver.”
“First, they fit like a glove. Second very light and easy to get around. Third, they keep my feet dry and are very breathable. This will not be my last pair of Vessi's”
“I originally got this to do some walking in the rain, and it was comfortable for the most part--there was some squishy feeling in the back/heel part, which I thought was maybe my jeans were snagging on it, but it wasn't. I couldn't figure it out. Mind you--my socks or feet never got wet even when it was in heavy rain. I've been using them since as a daily driver in dry conditions, and have not had that squishy feel since.”
“Super comfy, nice looking and waterproof, what more can you want in Raincouver! Highly recommend them…..bought these for my husband so maybe one day I will buy a pair for myself!”
“My first Vessi shoes was the EveryDay sneakers (the first iteration model) and though I did like them, I found them uncomfortable and causing some foot soreness and pain after very long walks (1 hour minimum) and small hikes.
I bought the CityScapes based on the good reviews and how comfortable they apparently were compared to EveryDays. Thee reviews are absolutely right. Not only are these night and day in terms of comfort, especially during long walks, they also look so sleek in terms of design!
I "field tested" these shoes so to speak by walking home through a heavy snowfall evening and these puppies kept my feet dry, comfortable and warm throughout the entire hour long walk.
The snow didn't impede my movement at all but word of warning, I wouldn't recommend walking these in wet icy conditions as they do slip on wet surfaces. I also wouldn't use these shoes if the snow reaches above ankle height. So a boot type shoe (Weekend Chelsea) would be more appropriate in that condition.
Besides that, I absolutely love these shoes. I finally have a shoe that I can call my daily driver shoe. I would definitely buy a second pair in a different color if only to prolong its use and shelf life.
FIts true to size in men's 9.”
“Very comfortable. I usually use orthotics but haven’t needed them with these shoes. The lateral support is less than I’m used to, they feel like wearing a sock with a sole. Waterproofing has held up great so far, I’ll be buying more as Christmas gifts”
“Got it as a gift for husband. He likes them and says they are comfy. It seems they are really waterproof which is great for Taiwan. No odors from the shoes despite his stinky feet. :)”
