They're easily removable though so you can replace the insoles with ones that you are more comfortable with. Have an awesome time hunting puddles with your waterproof sneakers!

“I love my Vessi shoes. I wear them every day and they still look great. I appreciate the fact I can wear them after a Chicago summer storm in an alley, down by the beach, or in an alley. However there is room for improvement. The shoe laces are a bit too thick and come undone very easily and are too short to double knot them. Either going with a model with no laces or experimenting with different holes/laces seems to be best way. Maybe I'm an outlier here, but I get sick of having to tie them a too often per day.”
“I love being able to put these shoes on without needing a shoehorn.
A couple minor nitpicks though. After a long day of walking, my feet will slip backwards in the shoe, to the point where my heels will hang off the edge of the sole juuuuust enough to be slightly uncomfortable.
It's a bit hard to find the right balance of shoelace tightness for me. Too loose and the shoe slides around a bit too much. Too tight and it feels like it's squeezing itself off of my foot.
I do realize that what I like and dislike about the shoe are pretty closely tied together. A sturdier heel would help keep my foot in place, but would also necessitate the use of a shoehorn to avoid damaging it.
So, for now, it's a tradeoff I'm satisfied with.”
