“I work in an assisted living residence as a resident care partner. I hate the feeling of having wet shoes and socks after assisting residents for showers and couldn’t change until the end of my shift. I usually shower 2-3 residents during shift. I even bought my own rain boots to use but now that I have Vesi I don’t mind getting in the shower and drying my shoes using resident’s hair drier. Vesi is really effective....just need to have more support on the sole as I walked a lot at work.”
Hi Jhingjhing,
Thank you for sharing your experience! We're glad that we could help keep your feet dry at work.
As a casual/city shoe, Vessis do provide relatively low arch support - some people love this whereas some people don't. This is why we made the insoles removable so you have the option of using your own inserts for more customized fit and comfort. That said, we will certainly share your thoughts with the rest of the team as we feel it is important to take into consideration all of the feedback we receive from our customers.
“I just bought my Vessi Everyday sneakers and I absolutely love them. I live in Vancouver (where it rains 9 months out of the year) and these shoes are very comfortable and keep my feet from being cold/wet. I highly recommend buying this product.”
Hi Erin,
We're happy to hear you love your pair! If you're still experiencing squeaking in your pair, please send us an email at support@vessi.com and we can check this for you.
“I just received my pair today. Tried them on, went for a walk, and liked them quite a lot.
I think the first thing that surprised me was how wide it seems to be. But then I remember how they're trying to best include everyone with these shoes, and since the fabric generally wraps around your feet you don't feel like the shoes are loose are anything. I have narrow feet but the back (towards my ankles) is kind of tall, so that top bit of fabric hugs a bit tight when I walk, though I'm sure it'll adjust over the next couple weeks.
Other thing is, most of my shoes have these support bridges (I don't know what they're actually supposed to be called) near the middle-inner section of a pair of shoes, so they can support that arch of my feet (bc I tend to lean inwards and it's bad for my knees). I can very clearly feel that these Vessi ones do not have that, at least perhaps due to my feet being not as wide.
I bought them for school, we require black shoes, and these stood out because my place is quite rainy and I'd love something that's waterproof. I didn't buy these looking to wear them during exercises, so, in the sense of how these meet MY expectations, definitely a 5/5. I suppose if you're looking for more sporty type shoes you'd buy their other styles instead of the day-to-day one.
Also I was SUPER excited for the waterproof side of things. I was pouring water on my shoes to show my friends that they don't get wet, and it was sooooo fun!!!”
Hi Katrina,
Thank you for sharing your experience with us, we hope you're enjoying your pair and still showing the water tests to your friends, it really is fun. Cheers!
“Love how truly waterproof these shoes are. It's lightweight and very comfortable - great for walking around and would be something I'd bring on trips once we're able to travel again! I would say the front of the shoe is a bit too round/wide for my personal taste. Looking down at my shoes I feel like it looks a bit to big for my feet (but the fit feels perfect).”
Hi Alice,
Yes, they are definitely a perfect travel companion!
Thanks for your feedback, we'll definitely let our Product team know so we can check how we can improve our product in the future.
