“I wore them for a couple of minutes and my feet were numb they were so tight. I exchanged them for the weekend's which were much better. Just note that if you are a half-size you need to round up in these but round down in the weekends.”

As a casual/city shoe, Vessis do provide relatively low arch support - some people love this whereas some people don't. This is why we made the insoles removable so you have the option of using your own inserts for more customized fit and comfort. “I was so excited to try out these shoes. I got a pair for my fiancé and he really likes them. However, these shoes are not comfortable to me. I've seen other reviews saying these shoes are very comfortable and others mentioning the very tight opening around the ankle, but I was hopeful when I ordered my pair. I'm sure the tightness around the top is to make sure your socks don't get wet, but the opening was so tight that the longer I wore them, the more uncomfortable my whole shoe wearing experience became. I hope I can get these to stretch out so they are wearable for me. I wore them during my shift at work and I was squirming to get them off by the end of the day. I hope the future design of these shoes will take this into account and make them a bit more comfortable. I really like these sneakers! I just wish they wouldn't squeeze my feet soo tightly.”

Thanks for sharing your experience! It's normal for the ankle opening to feel more snug at the beginning but we do recommend putting rolled up socks in the ankle opening overnight to speed up the stretching process! :)
“I totally wish there were half sizes. I ordered a size 10 and they were HUGE so I contacted customer service and was able to exchange for a 9 which are so tight/small that it makes my pinky toe fall asleep. I had to keep them because I used a coupon to get them which made them unreturnable. I had high hopes that they would stretch out and be a little more comfortable because I really wanna love these shoes but it’s hard to right now. Especially for $135”
