“Everyday All Black is great! I love the slip on feel. I did update the shoe a bit with elastic no tie shoe laces and some Dr. Scholl's for arch support. Shoes are very warm for walking outside in Minnesota in January. I am very pleased with them and will buy these again for casual walking shoes.”
“I ordered these pair as a replacement for my grey vessis as they had a rip in the fabric. The application for the warranty was so simple but I was most impressed that I got a response within the same evening! Issued a promo code immediately and was very helpful.
It actually ended up that there was a stock/supply issue which isn’t shocking considering covid so I actually had to reorder my replacement pair but again your staff was very helpful and apologetic for any inconveniences. I’ve been preaching your customer service around town keep it up!”
“I’ve only moved here last summer and by November I realised I needed better shoes to go for walks. Even just to leave the house! Constant wet feet situation! A friend told me about Vessi shoes but then my favourite pair was sold out. But Vessi was really good in letting me know when they were back in stock and delivery was very quick! They are very comfy and the only pair of shoes you need in and around Vancouver!”
Hi Kristine,
Awesome! We're so happy that you love your Vessis - thanks for your review. Also, shoutout to your amazing friend that recommended them to you 💙
“Just received my Vessi’s in the mail and they are super light. The waterproofing works well especially on those rainy days when I have to walk my dog. I have very flat feet and the arch in shoes is slightly uncomfortable. I wear a size 9.5 in women and have very narrow feet. I would recommend sizing down if you are like me; had to return the size 10 I ordered for a 9 fits perfect now. I would highly recommend this shoe!”
Hi Cassandra,
Thank you for sharing your experience and appreciate your support! Glad to hear you were able to work out the sizing and now enjoying your Vessis for the most part - happy puddle hunting 😊
Hi Linda,
Thank you for sharing your experience! We're happy to hear you love your shoes for the most part.
It’s normal for the ankle opening to be a little firm to start! Over the first few wears of your new shoes you’ll notice that the upper knit and ankle opening will stretch to accommodate and create the perfect shape around your feet. The reason you want this is to make sure no water comes in through the ankle. The only way to ensure this is if you allow the shoe to mold to your ankle shape. In order to do that, you do need them to be tight at first and then only stretch when they’ve learned your specific foot shape. This creates that snug, sock like fit that we are loved for!
In the meantime, we recommend using a shoehorn. Glad you love them!
“Very happy with my Vessi shoes. They keep my feet nice and dry in the heavy rains that pour over North Vancouver, BC. Not much arch support so once I stretch the shoes out to fit my feet a bit better, I will be putting an insole to help my arches out. Other than that no complaints here!”
Hi Madeline,
We're very glad to hear you're enjoying your Vessis for the most part! They definitely are handy for those rainy Vancouver days ☔
As a casual/city shoe, Vessis do provide relatively low arch support - some people love this whereas some people don't. This is why we made the insoles removable so you have the option of using your own inserts for more customized fit and comfort. That said, we will certainly share your thoughts with the rest of the team as we feel it is important to take into consideration all of the feedback we receive from our customers.
