“I Loved the whole experience - buying online, trying on and having them fit perfectly. It is one of the best online shopping experiences I've had. My feet were so happy - I was speed walking and wanted to hop or jog around :) On the first wear, the insole felt a little slippery, but after a few wears there is no issue at all. “I have had my shoes for the last month and all I can say is why did I not buy them earlier. These shoes are life-changing. For anyone who wants a shoe that can withstand the Vancouver rain, these are amazing. I wear these shoes 4 times a day and walk to and from work (1 hour each way) and they are so comfy. I love not having to worry if my feet will be soaked by the time I get home. So far the grip on these shoes is fantastic. As I work near the water the surfaces leading to my office can be very slippery during the morning with the colder temperatures and with the grip on these shoes I can confidently walk down a ramp without holding onto any rails. I love the sock-like feel of the shoes and I think because of this I have not had a blister at all! It didn't even time anytime for me to break into these shoes and I am so excited to get another pair for myself and my family.
If you are still thinking hmmm.... is it worth buying I am here to tell you YES! I can't wait for Vessi to come out with a boot version as this would be great!!!!”

“I wore them for an eight hour shift where I was on my feet all day : my feet were very happy. They are undeniably comfortable. I also wore them on a cold, wet evening to walk the dog - my feet not only stayed dry but were warm!! Very happy over all with this purchase.
The only problem I have with them is that they are awfully wide. Otherwise I love them”

“I was very excited to receive these shoes as I have two dogs that I walk up to 20km a day. I hate getting wet socks and I didn’t want the big bulkiness of another hiking boot. I also liked that it was a Vancouver company. I don’t do a lot of online shopping but it was very easy to order online. Customer service was great and responsive when I accidentally entered the wrong phone number and my shoes arrived very quickly.
When I first tried them on I felt like they were a little tight at the top of my foot (arch?) where the foot enters. I realize it’s to prevent water from getting but hopefully it loosens with wear as it’s a bit uncomfortable. Also my left shoe foam sole squeaks when I walk, and I think because of the foam it might be slippery when it gets icy. But I’ll find that out when the time comes. BUT they definitely are waterproof and I’ve tested that out very well. I’ve dipped my toes in ponds walked across grassy fields and jumped in many puddles and my feet always stay dry.”
“These are my new work shoes. I work in the veterinary field, so I work long hours and I am on my feet a lot. These shoes are very comfortable and lightweight, almost to the point that I forget that I have them on, The waterproof aspect in an ABSOLUTE plus in my book. Cleaning kennels can get very wet and these shoes have saved me from constantly having wet socks. I will also note that they are pee proof! You heard it folks, working with dogs comes with all variables and I have been peed on many times. Instead of having to call my husband to bring me new socks I just rinse off the Vessi's and keep going with my day. I have recommended them to all my co-workers and even bought a second pair for outside of work.”

“The rubber sole design is awesome for the slippery floors I work on in a deli where water is constantly being spilled on the floor. All that splashing water is also getting on me so my clothes might get soaked but my feet don’t which is more of a blessing than most people think. My only concern is there is very little arch support and it can lead to sore feet at the end of a full day on your feet, so if you’re getting planning on getting these just invest in some good insoles!”
Hi Jadyn, thanks for sharing your experience with us! We're glad to know your Vessis are keeping you dry during work :) As a casual/city shoe, Vessis do provide relatively low arch support. This is why we made the insoles removable so you have the option of using your own inserts for more customized fit and comfort. With that said, our team is hard at work creating the next generation of insoles which will be thicker, more cushioned and bouncier.
