“First off, I’m usually a 7.5 and I originally ordered an 8, per the recommendations... way too big! My exchange was super easy and went smoothly. Once I got my size 7, I found they fit perfectly and I absolutely love them! I don’t generally wear socks with them and they fit nice and snug without them but I can easily fit them while wearing socks as well. Nice and waterproof, easy to slip on and off, and they look great with casual outfits. I might end up getting another pair in the spring!”

When I first put them on they fit perfectly.
I wear a size 7 and they are wide fitting and have gotten more comfortable every day. I do a lot of walking and they are great in the rain and sun. Now I need a pair in every color! Definitely worth it!”
“I have wide feet, so I was really excited to hear that these shoes run wide! I usually wear a women's 6.5 wide or a women's 7. I read all the reviews and the sizing guides and decided to get a women's 7. It's the right width for my feet, but too long. I would really like to size down, but exchanges are final sale, so now I have to decide between exchanging for a size 6 to keep the discount I used and risk having a shoe that is too narrow, or doing a full return and separately ordering a size 6 shoe at full price so I can have the option to return it if it doesn't fit. Save yourself the headache and just get both sizes if you're unsure.
On the plus size, these are really really nice shoes. Even though they're too large, they are very comfy, feel high quality, and are exactly what I was looking for in a casual sneaker.”

“I trashed mine in a muddy pumpkin patch under pouring rain. Needless to say, I was soaked from head to ankles. Yes, ankles because my Vessi's kept my feet and socks dry despite me jumping into multiple mud puddles. Also, cleaning was a breeze. I sprayed water on my shoes with a garden hose and they look brand new just like that!”

“Love the comfort of the shoe and haven’t tried it in the rain yet. Biggest flop for me is that there wasn’t a 6.5 size option. Wearing size 7 makes it difficult for me to walk uphill. My heels always fall out because the shoes aren’t a perfect fit.”

Sorry that this did not give you the fit that you are looking for. Maybe you can try wearing thicker socks or replacing the insoles to customize the fit you prefer.
You've got to try them in the rain or do a quick water test so you can see how they work :)
“I just received mine and ordered a size 7. They are too big. I contacted them because I don't know if going down to a size 6 will be too small. I do have a narrow foot and they are cut wide but the isnt the issue, even with the laces tied tighter my heel slips in the back. Im usually a 7in all sneakers. If They had 1/2 sizes then it would be an easy exchange. I may have to just return them and find a different brand that are waterproof. I really wanted.these sneakers and feel disappointed”

If your heel is slipping even with tight laces, it does seem like going down a size might be a better fit for you. You can set up an exchange through our returns portal on our website under the FAQ tab. That said, we are hoping to expand our sizing in the future to include half-sizes. In the meantime, we'll forward your comments to our Product Team as we're always looking for ways to improve.
