“The product (BIOCHEF HIGH POWER BLENDER) is brilliant VALUE at the RRP of @£250 - BUT at £99 it is one of the BEST DEALS you will get this or any other year. We purchased this as our Vitamix 5200 - supposedly one of the Rolls Royces of the blender world that goes on & on & on & on - BUT DIDNT!! Decided to stop working a few months after the 5yr warranty finished & at £170+ repair fee, was a step too far. HENCE the BioChef - we saw it on eBay but after 'Googling' it we found lots of very good reviews of the product, especially in Australia - there are comparisons with the Vitamix and it appeared to give it a good run for its money, so we decided to purchase one via eBay - it arrived extremely quickly and generated a lot of interest in my work place to which it was delivered. Having got it home & put it next to the Vitamix they are quite similar in size, the BioChef slightly lighter & quieter BUT to be honest just as GOOD for our blending needs, indeed - for some tasks it is better in our opinion, it is even better in the looks department. As for use, both are simple, but the extra features of the BioChef (preset time / speeds) are very useful. The machine is so good, we purchased another one immediately for a friend, with a whole host of others seriously thinking about buying one. There was a small problem with communicating with the UK office about the wrong warranty card supplied in the box - after a few emails to their head office (Australia) I received a personal email, text and even phone call from their Head of World Sales who apologised for the problems we had encountered and honestly explained the reasons behind them. He CONFIRMED the product does have a 10yr warranty on the motor & 7yr warranty on the rest of the blender & jug and issued us with the relevant documentation. TO SUM UP - PRODUCT is an 10 out of 10, VALUE is an 10 out of 10, DELIVERY is an 10 out of 10, WARRANTY is an 10 out of 10, and CUSTOMER SERVICE (from their head office is 10 out of 10 - the UK office is experiencing a restructure at this time so it would be unfair to evaluate as it wouldn't represent their day to day abilities - We just had a small problem at the wrong time that was more than adequately addressed by their senior management - THUS WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT”

“Wanted a high speed blender for a long time to make many raw recipes that a normal blender or food processor couldn't handle. Have had my blender a week now and have so far made 30 second peanut butter, almond milk twice, smoothies, energy balls, ice-cream and watermelon sorbet chuffed to bits with it.”
