Vulcan Flat / Incline / Decline Adjustable Bench V2.0FID BenchPre-Order. This item is estimated to be in stock January 27th to February 15thPlease view Pre-Order FAQS The Vulcan Fid bench provides a highly durable, easy to assemble, Bench that can be used for a number of exercises. Bench press in multiple planes of incline, Flat Bench, and decline bench press using dumbbells or barbells. The bench can also be used to perform multiple abdominal exercises. Commercial grade quality and durability. Improvements: Grip Textured ergonomic back pad. Provides more stability for the trunk when performing abdominal exercises or decline press/movements. The grippy texture of the pad helps the exercise to maintain their position when using the bench; Thicker steel 6mm steel increased to 8 mm thickness. All tubing is 11 gauge (3mm). Overall the weight of the unit has increased from 95 lbs to 106 lbs approximately. The purpose of the increase in thickness of steel parts is to increase the stability of the unit and fortify the bench for heavy commercial and institutional use (commercial gyms, schools, military, etc.,); The rubber Handle is replaced with a chrome-plated solid steel handle. The new style handle stays out of the exerciser's path and eliminates any safety hazard created by the older style handle; Additional angles of adjustment are added. The additional angles increase the adjustment options of the exerciser. The final adjustment notch creates ultimate stability in the bottom position. Whereas before, the V1.0 bench and many other FIB Benches rest on the actual frame in the most extreme incline position leaving the pin uncoupled with any of the adjustment notching.; Urethane ankle pads as opposed to vinyl that will tear and absorb sweat and bacteria over time; The thickness of the steel of the adjustment tooth rail has increased from 5 mm to 10 mm thickness. Twice the strength eliminates bending or warping of the rail over years of use; Packaging has improved. This bench is now encased in a dense foam case within double-thick cardboard, ensuring your item traverses through the shipping channels well protected.; Adjustable Bench Description Black powder coat frame 11-Gauge Steel Chrome plates adjustment rod and teeth Laser-cut Stainless Steel Logo Plate equipped with wheels for easy portability and storage L: 58" W: 26" H: 18" Weight: 106 lbs * All measurements are approximations. The Bench features a thick 10 mm adjustment tooth-rail and a heavy locking pin, ensuring the back pad remains rigid at all anglesincluding steep inclines and full decline. Will the pad gap affect flat bench performance? With proper setupfeet planted, tight torso, slight lumbar archthe pad gap becomes negligible. The V2.0 improvements reduce flex and optimize pad alignment so the gap wont compromise pressing. Is the bench mobile enough for a home gym but stable for heavy use? Yes. At approx. 106 lb and equipped with transport wheels and a robust handle, it balances mobility and commercial-grade stability. How useful is the decline setting for core or accessory work? Very. The bench includes urethane ankle pads and multiple decline angles (up to ~20), making it suitable for decline presses, sit-ups, or abdominal work with the same rig used for flat/incline pressing. Is this bench over-engineered for a home gym? Maybebut thats not bad. The thick steel (8 mm plates, 11-gauge frame) ensures years of durability. If you train heavy, use multiple angles, or want a bench that wont feel weak when you upgrade, its worth the investment.

Bench is fantastic, setup took about 20 minutes. Well built, nice and heavy, yet easy to move around. This thing is built like a tank, so I don't really see anything happening to it, ever.

This bench is a beast. It is solid as a rock regardless of the position I put it on. The construction is better than I expected. It moves around easily with the front handle and the rear wheels but when it’s in place it does not move. No rocking or shaking and the stability gives a real sense of safety regardless of what exercise is being done. The taper is perfect for me allowing for full range of movement. If you’re looking for an incline decline bench this one is a great choice.

I just purchased this bench and it's constructed very well. It's very sturdy and the decline position is a true decline. After researching other benches this one met all of my needs.Vulcan customer service is great.

Great bench overall. Has a greater decline than the Rep version (20% vs 12%) which I like. Very sturdy and made from good materials. Only complaint is the foot holders when in the decline position bend your legs a bit too far back and is unnatural and therefore a bit uncomfortable.
