“Thought I should write back after our recent email exchange. This freak’n bar is INCREDIBLE. Put it together last night. Just lifted today. I’ve been Olympic lifting for 53 years. Switched to powerlifting a few months ago…as age is catching up with me. Started deadlifting three weeks ago. Just did a PB of 422 lbs with my new Vulcan OX Bar. I’ve got a little way to go to meet my 2x body weight goal before the holidays. 3x body weight is the long term goal…720 lbs. It’s quite clear that this bar can handle it. Having warmed up on an Eleiko trap bar and used a Titan open trap bar a few times, it’s quite clear that this bar is at the ELITE level. It’s pretty close to balanced. It’s SOLID. Quality is excellent. Grips are excellent for big hands and small. The Eleiko feel “light duty” by comparison. The Titan is also very heavy duty but was terribly unbalanced and seems somewhat mis-engineered (i.e., standing on the jacks, the base of all calibrated plates are 6” off the ground (for no reason other than poor design and engineering). Appreciate the great work and support at Vulcan!”

“Ultimate trap bar. Rackable for squats, dual grips for choice of range, and a jack stand which makes plate handling easy. I love this bar. Very solid build. 100% would recommend. Knurling is aggressive so if you're delicate, keep your weakness paper on hand to soak up your eye water until you harden up. I called Vulcan once to discuss shipping and they were very helpful and knowledgeable. Bat was shipped a long distance and was packed very securely for the trip.”

“I bought the open face trap bar after recovering from a lower back injury for the third time. Greatest choice ever. This is commercial gym quality equipment that has more exercise option that the straight bar and eliminates unnecessary strain on my lower back for deadlifts.”

“Great buy! Suffering from lower lumbar injuries from the Army. Might be putting down the uniform but this bar keeps me from putting down the weight. Seriously puts my comfortability and confidence to pull more weight back to the times before I injured my back. Hello ACFT extended scale. This is commercial gym quality all day!”

“Great trap bar. The knurling is a little aggressive, I actually taped my smaller handles with gymnastics ring tape. I like the round tubing for zercher squats. Overall a nice piece of equipment.”
