The 5# and 2.5# V-lock plates are awesome. I really like the rubber coated plates. They hold on to the bar a lot better than the steel so you don't have weights sliding around during your reps.

Exactly what you expect out of them, fit snug to the bar without being too hard to slide on or off. A necessity for making progress with the bar. It just makes sense to order the set and save a little money at the same time.

Hard to beat anything from Vulcan. I would also recommend an additional order of a 5 lb set.

Anyone who lifts in lbs and gives a crap about their barbell needs these. I don't understand how people can be so meticulous with how snug and quite weights need to be to then go and get clanky change discs that ding your bar everytime you shift a foot or hand. Vulcan's v-locks have a snug fit that keeps them on the bar, but are easy to remove one-handed. The discs are rubber so there is no metal-on-metal contact with the bar and they are quieter than the hightest quality bumpers. Definitely buying more.
