I've worn the watch several times and I haven't seen it glow yet. So wearing this watch at night is redundant. On a high note it looks good in the day....

As most folks have noted, the watch is really stunning to look at - it really is a work of art, so original and unique, fantastic in that regard. As far as fulfilling its purpose? Well, it takes a bit of getting used to in easily or quickly reading the time - there are lots of stellar bodies on the face, and it takes a bit to key in on the hour orb/planet and the minute orb/planet. The lumination is almost non-existent on my watch - not nearly what is shown in the pictures. I can sit it in direct sunlight, or direct light of any source, for several minutes, then run to a dark room, and only see a faint glow from the dots/orbs, and after only a minute or so, it has faded to almost nothing. Not sure if this could be a manufacturing error - but would have been nice to have a bright lumination given the subject matter. The date is absolutely useless - it has been impossible to read in every light scenario imaginable, made more difficult by the rounded crystal, which tends to reflect light in a way that helps obscure that tiny circle, where the date is way too deep-set to read. It's fantastically unique time piece - just wish it were a bit more functional.
