“This unit is both educational and functional for those with a pool. Its a full time pool technician and chemistry instructor. Saves time and money from wasting chemicals.”
“I sent my test in first of December and followed up 2 weeks later on results. I was informed it could take up to 3 weeks. I again followed up 3.5 weeks later and was then informed the address on self addressed envelopes was now incorrect. Poor customer service in communication”

“The process was very straightforward, the vial arrived in the mail, I scanned filled and shipped it. The results appeared in-app without a problem.
The only challenge was that the vial was ~2mm too wide to fit in my mail slot. This lead to me having to drive the package in to town. The drive in was basically the same distance/process as me going to the local pool shop, so the convenience was very diminished. Is there a slimmer vial or alternate shipping container that could be used from my mail slot?”
Dear Chris,
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We appreciate your input regarding the width of the vial and its impact on the convenience of delivery. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
At this time, our standard vial size is designed to accommodate the necessary samples for pool water analysis. However, we understand your concerns and have noted your suggestion for a slimmer vial or alternate shipping container that could fit in your mail slot more easily.
I'll make sure to forward your specific request to our product development team for consideration in future enhancements. Your feedback is valuable to us as we strive to improve our services.
If you have any further questions or suggestions, please don't hesitate to reach out to our Support Team. We appreciate your business and are committed to providing you with the best possible experience.
Best regards,

“I initially gave this one star because the very first step in submission didn't work - scanning the QR code. I contacted support and they explained that I needed to use the app to scan the QR code. So, their instructions on the test vial need to be improved. Once I did this, submission was easy and the results came back impossibly fast to the point I was worried they hadn't really run it, but sure enough, it had some additional data not measured by the device like Cu and Fe level. I have to give WaterGuru a huge amount of credit for building a higher quality regular test into their process. I can see many other companies being scared this would undermine the value of their product, but as a scientist in biotech, it's absolutely necessary, so kudos to WaterGuru. It looks like the only additional levels they check not covered by the pool device are Fe, Cu, and salt level. I'd like to see a few more water contaminants checked as well. I ran this test because I wanted to be sure my pool guys weren't dumping nasty algaecides into my poor without telling me. I realize copper can be an indicator of that, but it's not the only one. Great start. A little room for improvement still.”
