Hi Kathy! Thank you for your feedback, if the batter is too thick for your preference, you can always add a very small amount of cream or even water until your preferred consistency is reached. Hey Susan! We appreciate your support and also your feedback that you enjoyed the taste. You're probably not doing anything wrong. But as for the rise, if you use a pan that is larger than what is specify the bread will spread out instead of rising up. A (7.5 x 3.5 pan is ideal). Of course, you do not need a loaf pan and this works great as a rolls on a cookie sheet we do have a few pages with more details on getting the best results from our bread. I Will post below.

“I bought three packages of the bread hoping for sandwich bread. The first one was quite flat, so I called. I was told to use a smaller pan which I tried next with the same result. For the third package, I added the yeast and followed the yeast recipe with the same result. I have not tried the Miracle Mix or brownies. I cannot rate the product as you requested since I have not tried it, so please ignore my one star rating.”
