Came well packaged and it's good quality.I put up on my own and took me about 5 hours but it would be a lot easier with 2 people.Read the instructions completely before you start as a couple of the stages where I found a bit confusing. All said very happy with it

Great quality, very sturdy. Took a few hours to build, one person can put the parts together but at least 2 people needed to put it up. Three people needed to put the top bars on. A bag of parts was missing so we couldn't add the roof slats. We rang customer services, their response was excellent. The parts were sent special delivery and arrived within a couple of days. Now we can enjoy the warm weather with plenty of shade!

An absolutely wonderful pergola. I would 100% recommend. We're absolutely delighted. The materials and design are of the highest quality. Even the cardboard boxes it arrived in were top spec. Assembly takes a while but the instructions are excellent and the build process is easy.

I bought and assembled my own pergola. Yes you really do need 2 people for holding the two assembled sides up while I climb steps to bolt them together. 1 of the others needs to be on short steps to reach the top easily. Otherwise, I did everything myself including fitting the louvers. Don't do this on a windy day or you could make some expensive mistakes. Move slowly so you don't bang bits together which could damage the Powder coating. Spares box and instructions are very concise. My only observation is the measurements for placing of the feet are VERY wrong. My best suggestion is to hold two planks together between the leg span at THE TOP. I 'G' clamped them together and could then space the feet perfectly from the 1st datum position. Don't muck around with tape measures. They flap around and need 2 people to operate properly over the distance. I have imported Indian stone patio set on 4" of cement. This stuff is really hard. Use small masonry bits for pilot holes and increase in size to the final 12mm if you're using the supplied ground anchors. Sadly these are just nickel plated steel and will rust, which will definitely stain the patio. I bought 2 x 1m lengths of 8mm stainless studding and 'chemical epoxy' to fix them. Only 8mm or bigger needed. Glue them in. Tighten a couple of hours later. Carefully cut the excess off to allow the plastic foot shrouds to fit on. What initially seems a daunting task is relatively easy, provided you follow the steps. Just like making a cake!

The pergola is absolutely stunning. It is just perfect in the space we have. Being able to open and close the roof is great for the changes in the weather. We sat under it in the pouring rain and not a spot leaked from the closed roof.
