“THis parasol looks and feels good quality and is an asset to our garden. It's easy to erect although I agree with other reviewers that it is very high which means that if you're not very tall it's difficult to insert the pin which holds the parasol open. However, the height does make it easy to walk under or round it without bumping your head. A simple remedy would be to simply saw a few inches off the bottom which we're going to do. There's a plastic cover to the base of the pole which will reduce the risk of rotting if there's water in the parasol stand. I'm pleased that I bought it.”
