With a power usage of just 7 watts and featuring a 120° beam angle the R63 is the best direct replacement for 60w halogen reflectors. As it comes with a standard E27 fitting, you can swap these over directly with your old halogen bulbs and make savings of up to 90% immediately. Unlike its R80 counterpart, it is not dimmable. This 90% running cost reduction can also be accompanied by the 10% bulk buy saving on buying 5 or more units. Alongside both cost savings, you can also benefit from the range of discount codes that are available for LED spotlights, LED light bulbs and all LED strip light related products. Introducing ProLED The incredible ProLED range of LED reflector bulbs has greater energy-efficiency than ever before. You’ll be getting more lumens for your energy usage, leading to a brighter and more eco-friendly bulb. Thanks to the innovative new heat sink, the ProLED range will last much longer, with tens of thousands of hours of usage available. Saving Money With The Newest Lighting Technology This R63 LED reflector manufactured by Mirrorstone sports 12 super high power SMD LEDs so you can replicate the same brightness and effect of what you already have installed. With a flat LED array and the nature of the SMDs, you can achieve a wide 120° spread of light. On top of this wide beam angle, you get a bright 610 Lumen output to fully replicate 60w reflector bulbs. Like all of our E27 light bulbs and reflector bulbs you have the option of two colour variations; Warm White (3000K) and Cool White (6000K). Warm White is the colour that is closest to traditional halogen bulbs being a soft white. It is generally used in living areas such as dining rooms and living rooms as well as bedrooms and hallways. Warm White is also the colour that is most recommended for traditionally styled rooms. The other option available, Cool White, is used in rooms where a clearer light is needed. Rooms such as bathrooms and kitchens are an example where you would install Cool White lights. Cool White is also usable in working environments such as offices and warehouses. How Warm White is generally recommended for traditionally styled rooms and decor, Cool White is recommended for more modernly designed rooms. Extra Long Life Expectancy And How LEDs Do It Using so little power, all LEDs have a longer lifespan than any other lighting solution, boasting up to a 50,000 hour life span. This can mean they last for up to, and maybe even above, 25 years! That's up to 25 years of massively reduced lighting costs. How LEDs last so much longer than any CFL or halogen bulb due to its ability to manage its heat better, where halogen bulbs use 90% of their power in heat energy LEDs use over 90% in light energy. LED manufacturer CREE used a chocolate bunny, and LED light bulb and incandescent light bulb to demonstrate the difference,

I have installed 6 of these bulbs in my kitchen where I reckon they will pay fpr themselves in a year based on the amount of time the kitchen lights are on (more than any othrr room in the house). They are brighter than I expected and of good quality construction. I bought the cool white which is very white, even a bit stark. Its okay in the kitchen but you might want the warm white varinat if you are going to use them in other rooms. .

Initially bought one LED R63 spotlight as a trial to compare with the existing CFL spotlights in our kitchen, which are almost the same price. It is the same size, but is brighter (the CFLs fade after a few months) and comes on instantaneously. The CFLs are 11W and seem to only last a year or so - the LEDs use only 7W and are guaranteed for 5 years so it was a no brainer - went and bought another seven to replace all the old CFLs.

Purchased two R63 LED's to replace old style bulb. Fits perfectly into ceiling fitment giving a bright clean white light. I'm hoping these bulbs will make me a saving as the old style bulbs would blow every couple of months. I'll be looking to replace all my old style bulbs for LED's over the next couple of months, now I know how bright a 610 lumen LED bulb is. .

Just bought one R63 and one R80 LED to trial as replacements for existing ceiling mounted incandescent spot bulbs. Fit is good, and first impression is light seems brighter and a bit colder than the 60W bulbs they are replacing. We may get used to this and may replace the rest of our ceiling spot bulbs depending on how we get on with these. If the promised energy saving is realised and the bulbs really are that long lasting £ saving should be worthwhile anyway.

Wow! Such a huge improvement over incandescent and CFl bulbs. It looks great when off and the light quality when on is far better than every bulb I have used previously. This bulb is also the correct length for my ceiling mounted sockets unlike some of the CFl bulbs I used in the past which were 10 centimetres too long.
