“So far the EuroCave has been great. I like the adjustable bottle holders that slide sideways to accommodate different sized bottles. The workmanship is really nice and looks great. While everyone's collect will vary, I would suggest always buying larger than you think as champagne's, pinot's and other non Bordeaux bottle sizes will definitely cut into the number of bottles you can actually store. All and all very happy with the purchase, delivery and setup.”

“I am very happy I bought this unit. I was able to get 139 bottles in the unit (8+ cases CA/WA Cabs, Syrahs & Zins with a couple cases of OR Pinot in the top shelf and the bottom on the rack). I found shelves 2 through 10 hold everything but the Oregon Pinot bottles, including a case of Mollydooker Shiraz without any adjustments. The unit makes less noise than my other 2 smaller units (neither are EuroCave). I found the ordering process to be simple and the delivery company excellent. The only knock on this unit is the temperature range is 3 degrees.”

“Love it, well made in every respect. Whisper quiet, great feel to the shelves and spot on cooling consistency. Delivery was as promised and on time. Changes.... Love to see 3/16" more space between the shelves to handle the occasional over size bottle (Champagnes are close but as there is no shelf sag they fit!) and four levelers vs just the two on the front would be great.”

“Like most other people who have bought Euro Caves, I depended on the reivews like I'm wiriting here as well as finding a few people personally who own them; so far it's lived to its reputation; I think it's FAR quieter than I expected, which is really nice. The storage space on the shelves is wider than I also expected and I have been able to get burgundy/syrah size bottles in without them touching adjacent shelves. plus you have room for the 120 on the 10 shelves plus another 15-20 on the bottom. I was concderned about the instructions only talking about centrigrade and so called Wine Enthusiast and got instructions on how to change to Fahrenheit; but after the 48 hour waiting period after delivery, when I started up the unit, it read Farenheit so I didn't have to go through that change process. The unit has constantly been with +/- 3/10ths of a degree from wehere I set it ( 55 ) so that's really good, too. I feel vewry good about my slection and expect MANY great years of performance with this brand !!”

“We must agree with previous reviewers who remarked on the delivery process. Our unit was delivered without incident, but both delivery people had trouble controlling the dolly, as it was really too small to handle the size and weight of this unit. Also, we were told what day it would come, but the delivery company never communicated a time window. We were promised an email with the time window, but that never came. Fortunately the delivery company called about an hour before arrival, so we were able to be here. I spoke to the Wine Enthusiast sales person about the above and he said they don't have much control over that as it is sub-contracted. I'm not sure it should be billed as "white-glove." This delivery seemed like any other regular delivery to me.Then came the process of turning the unit on. Because we had to wait 24 hours to turn it on, we filled it during our wait time so it would be ready to go. Unfortunately, we plugged it in and nothing happened--no digital display and no power. So we called Wine Enthusiast and were connected with tech support. They said this often happens with a new unit, because the cooler is not hard wired in the back. There is a plug behind the grill in the back of the unit, at the bottom, that often gets loose in shipping or delivery. So now we had to remove most of the bottles from the unit, pull out the cooler so we could get access to the back, and find the plug behind the grill on the back of the unit. Let's just say that the grill is not removable (that we could see--no screws--looks like it's welded on), so we had to find something to jimmy the plug in front of where it goes while the other one of us used a table knife to push on it into the receptacle back there (this was not an easy process).I told the tech person that the least they could do is warn people that this could happen BEFORE the unit is delivered so buyers have a chance to fix that back plug before they fill the cooler. The tech person said they have asked Eurocave to put this fact in their literature, but it seems to me incumbent on the sales person to mention this at time of sale so buyers can short-circuit the problem before they fill their coolers.So now the unit is filled again and the power is on and it reached the desired temperature pretty quickly. We do have condensation on some of the bottles on the bottom, so we need to figure out how to fix that problem, but otherwise, it's been operating for 24 hours and we expect to be happy with its performance. We may update in a month or so if we aren't able to fix the condensation problem.”
