“I have this unit in my garage where the temperature ranges from 55F - 68F, winter to summer. I have a unit with a solid door.Cons: Initially most of the roll-out shelves had issues (wheels off the track, etc.) with a full 12 bottles. I had to invest some time, follow the videos and adjust the shelves. But after I did that they are working fine.The temperature varies about 3F between bottles on the bottom shelf and the top shelf. This is not a big issue as both are still in the appropriate cellar range (53F - 56F) and from what I read stability is more important than the absolute temperature.Pros: The unit is well constructed and quiet. The solid door option is much more energy efficient according to the specifications and overall the unit does not demand much energy. Delivery and installation went very smoothly.I would recommend this to a friend.”

“So far I'd say it's a home run. Delivery was easy, set up and loading easy.i especially like the extremely low power consumption- it's in my unconditioned garage - 1/2 kilowatt hour a day!”

“Very high quality, but not sure new individual bottle holders are better than traditional wooden slat shelves, particularly with different format bottles like Austrian whites, etc. Having problem setting three additional rolling shelves aligned square to match the ten shelves that came with cellar - trying to work this with customer service.”

“Living in California, I need to secure the unit to the wall to avoid risk of tipping over in earthquake. It would be great if there were dedicated anchor points on the upper back of the unit. As it is now, I think my only option is to use aircraft cable around the top of the front and on the sides. Tricky since I don't want the cable to interfere with door seal.Has anyone else figured out what to do?”

“I bought this particular model because I needed a heavy duty, well insulated cooler. I'm keeping it in the garage here in Southern California. The week that it was first turned on had temperatures in the 90's. The cooler quickly reached the target temp of 55 and seems to have no problem maintaining that. The door was opened frequently as I loaded my collection, and it recovered quickly each time. Most of my wines are larger Pinot noir bottles and that requires some adjustment and removal of bottle holder, but I expected that. Each shelf holds 10 such bottles instead of the 12 normal bottles. Even with the larger bottles, the spacing from shelf to shelf did not need to be adjusted.”

“I just got the unit a few days ago and so far it is great but too early to judge. I had to buy 3 extra shelves for $200.00. I had a little bit of difficulty setting the temperature but that might be me and not the unit. I got mine with an opaque black door for the garage and I like it. I like the shelving system because I can adjust for wider bottles. I also like the system to adjust the separation between the shelves and it is very easy to do.”

“Delivery to the dining room, then a few weeks later, a short move to the butler's pantry. Plugged it in the next day and it has worked well ever since. The temp varies from 55.1 to 53 F. The shelves seem a bit flimsy , and there should be a few more of them considering the price of the unit. It is quiet, and I've had no problems with it. I just need to fill it up!”

“We haven't had this unit for very long but thus far it meets our needs very well. It's quiet and keeps the temperature within 1-2 degrees F. +/- which I think is fine. There is one shelf however, I think it's number 7, that sits directly atop the bracing that 'snags' a bit when you pull the shelf out and when it's full of bottles. Check back in 6 months or so but this far, I'm satisfied!”
