“I took delivery on this cooler about three weeks ago so I cannot speak to the reliability of the cooling system. However the design itself leaves something to be desired. One previous review mentioned the lack of backing. This is a major flaw. Having bottles fall down the back is a serious concern. The same holds true for the front lip. A taller protection barrier would be helpful for bottle security. Also, Wine Enthusiast provides the disclaimer for loss of capacity due to bottle shape. I would caution and say their estimate for loss is conservative. I have a good mix of Bordeaux and California red bottles with a few Turley for thrown in for good measure. After spending the last three weeks playing Tetris I have come to accept the fact that I will only be able to securely store roughly 90 bottles without worrying one will fall forward or backwards and shatter. Overall I wish I could return as this appliance was a disappointment for the money invested. In the end I needed to rent a storage locker at a local wine storage facility.”

“I received our new cellar and it has been a good purchase. The price was reasonable. Delivery was easy with White Glove (placed where I wanted and all packing taken away). The cellar functions well. Temps are consistent and storage is functional. This is my second cellar purchase from WE. Both were good buys.”

“Overall - fine. Fitting bottles (per the advertised #) is a real challenge. Be careful pulling out shelves when you've managed to fill to or close to capacity -- no shelf backing and a bottle can (did) crash to the floor.”

“I have owned my 150 bottle wine refrigerator for a little over 2 years and have had no problems with it.I would buy it again. Door, lighting and shelves work flawlessly. It holds the set temperature throughout the cavity of the cooler.The only drawback is that shelves hold only 11 bottles, not 12. Also, I'd like at least 1 shelf spaced for 1/2 bottles, but this isn't a major issue. Overall, an excellent wine refrigerator at a very good price.”
