The GOOD: It holds consistent temperature and is oh so pretty. The BAD: 1) Every time the compressor first kicks off, it's loud. Like whole-house, can-hear-it-everywhere, have-to-turn-up-the-TV buzzing noise. This abates after a couple minutes. 2) I knew it was unlikely to actually hold 80 bottles, but since it *says* it's sized for bordeaux bottles, I'd get at least 60-70 of those. Not. Even. Close. The instructions show nine bottles per shelf. I wish I could post an image here, but the brackets on the side of the shelf are obviously made for those two-inch wide bordeaux that no one has. Unfortunately since I don't have those, each self only holds *seven* *bordeaux* bottles, not nine. Since there are seven shelves, this is a loss of 14 bottles' worth of capacity. If you are buying this item, plan on that. 3) Finally, the cherry on the sundae. The delivery company, AM Transportation Logistics is absolutely HORRIBLE. If this were their review, they'd be getting a 1 or maybe a 2 since they did actually deliver the item. My experience with them was so bad that if I were buying another wine cellar, I'd shop elsewhere to avoid them. Here's what happened: As the item shipped, I got emails letting me know that once the item got to the local delivery hub, I'd get a call about scheduling the delivery. Instead, at :9:30 AM, I got a text, an email, and a phone call arbitrarily TELLING me that they would be delivering the item between 10:30 and 2:30 the next day and asking me to confirm availability. That's right, on 25 hours notice, I'm supposed to clear my calendar and take a day off work just to be their for them. So I called them back and said, that won't really work for me - I have morning meetings and can we do Saturday, or, if we can't do Saturday, then it needs to be an afternoon delivery so I only have to use a half day of my vacation. I got a "Let me check with the local delivery manager and we'll call you back." The whole day passes with no call back. So, bright and early the next morning I call them again and spend over 30 of my estimated 11 minutes on hold. This time the customer service person tells me that my item is OUT FOR DELIVERY and is scheduled for the 5th stop out of 17. It will be their this morning, EXACTLY WHEN I TOLD THEM WAS THE *LEAST* CONVENIENT TIME TO DELIVER IT. I should have made them take it back at that point, but instead, I ended up rushing home (40 minute drive) so they could deliver it. These AM guys will expect you to be home on short notice, at a time of their choosing (also on short notice). They will NOT call you back when they say and will completely ignore when you tell them is not a good time for delivery. Unfortunately, we consumers don't get to pick them; Wine Enthusiast does. But that means I'm holding Wine Enthusiast responsible for AM's actions, hence the lower mark on this review.

So far so great. I've only had the cooler for a month, but it looks good in the living room and is holding temperature nicely. 80 bottles would be a geometrical stretch, but it holds enough.

Strong plastic, chemical smell inside Materials for shelves and interior are sort of cheap and bottles dont align well in the fixed metal racks

The unit functions fine - so far. It has a lot mechanically in common with the now deceased Avanti I bought 7 years ago. So I hope Wine Enthusiast is on its suppliers to meet reasonable standards of quality and longevity. No excuse for closed system refrigerators to last less than 10 or 15 years. Time will tell. The shipping and delivery experience left a lot to be desired. I understand recent supply and logistics challenges. But information along the way should have been better. And the shippers were comical. Delayed trucks, couldn't find the (well marked) address. They almost turned around and left. Lastly, it ought to be called a "Classic 60". No way even slim bottles would be good for 80 without drawer interference. But I expected as much.

Echoing many of the mentions here. I’ve had this fridge for 6+ months now & I keep going back to how poorly designed the shelves are. I have this unit filled with Bordeaux bottles, based on how they estimated maximum storage, & I cannot even get them aligned on one shelf properly. The wiring prohibits you to set them properly. Also- caution to the bottles that sit on the edges of the shelves as the racks above will rip your labels straight through. I wish I had just spent a bit more money to get a non WineEnthusiast brand.
